Monuments dedicated to Thomas Jefferson and George Washington are the next targets

Liberals are going nuts with this.

Interesting how republicans immediately formed a circular firing squad. Now we have a large group of republican officeholders whom we want defeated, even if it means a dem takes the seat. Obviously people like little Marco can never be trusted as a presidential candidate either.

Someone name me one democrat who has criticized, or "disavowed" to use the media term, any leftwing thug, from antifa to BLM to Linda Mansour to the long list of radical cop killers to domestic terrorists like Bill Ayers. Obama pardoned some of them and Ayers is his mentor.

Obviously that was trick question because the media would never demand that democrats disavow any of their crew of thugs, murderers and terrorist. That is a game for republicans only, and they eagerly play it.

The democrats will be targeting monuments for Thomas Jefferson and George Washington next. Mark my words. These people never stop.

These calls are by GOP operatives to make the left seem irrational to whitey in the coming election.

I think Washington and Jefferson were great thinkers and political leaders that served their country.

They were also slaveowners and their slave owning history is not hidden, it is a great educational part of their house museums in Monticello and Mount Vernon. It can and should never be separated from all the good that they did for this country and their words shaped the Constitution and the system of government we have. There words and beliefs were spot on, they just really did not practice what they preached and itr is no longer gloosed over or white washed. Again just go to their house museums.

They certainly hold a different place in American history than a Confederate general who took up arms against his own country to defend his right to own slaves and started a rebellion. They deserve a spot in the museums but not a glorified place of honor.

Pretty clear you never served.

There is this thing called valor. It is a trait exhibited by individuals. Those individuals often appear on both sides of a conflict.

If you think we are going to toss our system out because a particularly stupid generation comes along and decides they have the right to judge our culture I think you are in for a bit of a surprise. You don't know your own country.

C'mon...I doubt anyone who has served in the military wants German soldier monuments or Japanese Kamikaze monuments put up ....because they served.

Don't use that bullshit "served" argument when you are being hypocritical.

If you truly believe in valor then erect a statue to those brave Japanese who dive bombed the Arizone near the Pealr Harbor monument.

Wait...what about the U.S. soldier that flipped to serve the Taliban or the U.S. soldier that shot up Ft. Hood.... they served so they should have statues dedicated to them right?

Dont speak for the military with your bullshit, no one is proud of rebels/traitors who took up arms against the United States of America to keep slavery and kill U.S. soldiers.
