Money is Everything.

I like Kevin O'Leary. You know why? Because all he cares about is MONEY. That is the most important thing in any universe, because without it, you will be sad.

I dare ANYONE on this forum to disagree with me.
Eventually you will get to the point in your life where you realize that the things that are important are things that money won't buy.

Money isn't Everything. (YEAH, RIGHT.)

Dude, I have gotten to the point in my life where I realize that having money is better than not having it. We have obviously lived very different lives, you and I. HAVING money is much better than NOT having it.

If you have enough money, you can solve all problems. If you have NO money, all you have are problems. So yes, money buys happiness.

I would rather be rich and miserable than poor and happy, because eventually being rich will lead to happiness. Being poor will eventually turn happiness into sadness.

You started this thread because I challenged people in a Crypto thread that Kevin O'Leary was not a bad person because he loves MONEY. My point was that why would someone invest if not to make money?

Off course you invest to make money. I don't know a single person who does otherwise although there are some here on ET that make me wonder.

But like I said once you realize what money can't buy your attitude changes. Let's start with good health. Cancer, hearth disease and dementia; try telling those guys your rich.

Good friends. Yup you can buy them or rent them but when you really need them, it could be a different story.

Ever see a hearse with a u-haul behind. Can't take it with you.

Fine. You're getting altruistic. I knew it would come to this.

How is this?

I would rather have cancer and be rich than have cancer and be poor.

Money does not prevent or cause you to get cancer. Your financial status does not dictate whether or not you will develop cancer. But HAVING money, well, it makes it less painful.

If being rich is important to you then it's probably more painful. You have so much more to lose.

See? Here we go again with the philosophy and lost-cause argument and altruism. This whole shit about being happy while poor. Sorry deaddog, that's not how it is in the real world.
