See? Here we go again with the philosophy and lost-cause argument and altruism. This whole shit about being happy while poor. Sorry deaddog, that's not how it is in the real world.

True happiness to me are my two dogs. and other pets I have owned in the past.
Unfortunately, most people I see (online and offline, rich or poor) are brain dead.Dude, I have gotten to the point in my life where I realize that having money is better than not having it. We have obviously lived very different lives, you and I. HAVING money is much better than NOT having it.
If you have enough money, you can solve all problems. If you have NO money, all you have are problems. So yes, money buys happiness.
I would rather be rich and miserable than poor and happy, because eventually being rich will lead to happiness. Being poor will eventually turn happiness into sadness.
You started this thread because I challenged people in a Crypto thread that Kevin O'Leary was not a bad person because he loves MONEY. My point was that why would someone invest if not to make money?
You should try it sometime. Just for the hell of it, perform a random act of kindness, see if you don't feel better.Unfortunately, most people I see (online and offline, rich or poor) are brain dead.
They live to please others, but not themselves.
I was actually referring to online gurus with their lambos and all their gullible followers who look up to that kind of fake life. You should try it sometime. Just for the hell of it, perform a random act of kindness, see if you don't feel better.
So are you happy? Rich? Poor?See? Here we go again with the philosophy and lost-cause argument and altruism. This whole shit about being happy while poor. Sorry deaddog, that's not how it is in the real world.

I agree,
It took me kind of a long time in life....to truly realize that a Rolex watch, or $1,000 shoes, or boner pills or looks, or a Porsche or status and titles won't make me happy.
Happiness has to truly be natural, and authentic, from within....an inner glow beyond the material, fake, hyped up world.
Similar to a child just enjoying and absorbing life, and all its random moments.
True happiness to me are my two dogs. and other pets I have owned in the past. Heart for something is Happiness.
