A religion that takes the smartest males out of the gene pool for a few thousand years will do that as well.

How can a religion remove the smartest males? If they got removed they weren't so smart. The only religion I know that lost just about all of their smart males was communism in East Berlin, and most of them escaped.

yes, 7 billion people, but about half of them (some say 51%) are now female. Time for the men to go back to fishing and hunting and drinking and playing music. Let the women run the government. It aint nothing but a nanny state anyway.

better yet, we have not yet discovered other lifeforms in our galaxy, but our galaxy is a very small place. It's only significant if you are living in it. In the broad scheme of things not only our planet and solar system and galaxy and even our universe may all be very insignificant.
