Im still conflicted as to whether or not to buy them tomorrow, as they did nothing today, and if the market pukes its bringing down all of them regardless, im not going to chase, i have a couple hundred shares of 3 of these, unfortunately RTN was one of the only ones i DIDNT buy lol. Infact RTN was probably one of the only ones that finished green from my list.

I have LMT, NOC, and LLL, but tiny, and i lost money, i was sizing in aggressively towards the highs thinking they were going to explode and they just fizzled. Ended up with small losses in all of them.

Gold, alt-coins, and copper may not be a bad play in the short term

Yeah, GLD/Gold has been bouncing off the 200 day over and over been shorting NUGT based on that over and over, but might be time to buy the breakout on Gold if the market is going to melt down.

May be worth keeping an eye on oil if we commit to this.

Yeah good eye, though lots of people on my twitter feed seem like they already bought oil, so migt be a loaded trade.

I cant even sleep right now so excited for tomorrow, just pouring over charts looking for opportunity, going to be a fun day, should be crazy sector rotation if your on it early, plus lots of volatility.

Im short some FIZZ that i took as a swing yesterday 85.12 is my average so not very good but willing to let it work itself out, stop over 87, been stalking it for weeks, has only had 1 red day besides the last 2 in the last month, so you know its going to be painful when it cracks......... will hit it hard below 83 might be something there in the case of a market meltdown, its trading at a pretty ridiculous valuation when compared to other soft drink companies, 42 times earnings, there is lots of downside if it cracks.

Max,
I follow FIZZ a little too. Was also tempted to short at $85, puts are too pricey ... its a short squeeze right now, and I don't think its over. I'd cover if I were you... look to re-enter above 92. Also, I don't think the market is going to meltdown tomorrow. In fact, we might get a headfake down outta the gate, and then 200 point patriot rally. Be careful.

I'm having my doubts too. Pussied out and tightened my stops. Part of me is saying to widen them instead.

Thx for the advice Van, its a small position even though i said my stop was 87, more than likely i will cover if it doesnt want to break down tomorrow, i kind of dived into it yesterday before watching it much, then watched it for the last hour, way it moves cause its illiquid seems pretty manipulative, lows hold then it skates up thirty ticks on air, with offers just dropping, and all the volume going off at the bid...... seems like text book low Volume manipulation.

but i was willing to hold and willing to take the risk when the market cracked off the highs today, cause im just thinking it has to get dragged down if market melts. But im starting to agree with you the more the ES holds it was down 10 points now down 4, should have done alot more if it was going to puke.

If market melts, and FIZZ holds ill most likely be bailing pretty quick, I just wanted to make sure i had a decent starting price, so that if it goes towards 83 i can chase it and have room on my average, cause one of these days its going to puke, and i hate chasing pukes cause it often turns into traps.

Anyways that was my thought process behind it.

Yeah the fact that the market held when it was down 10 points at a critical level, leads me to believe market might shrug it off now, but i will be waiting till the open tomorrow to make up my mind either way.

If the market does hold those defense stocks should be a no brainer, but i thought the same thing today and they did nothing.
