Exactly. People aren't going to go to work if they can earn more for doing nothing. That's recipe for failure. So something has to change; either unemployment benefits need to be decreased and/or the unemployed need to do something to earn those benefits.

Back to your "point" (not that you had one). The Dems have been in power for 2 years and never once suggested the unemployed do anything to earn their pay...especially find a job (gasp!). Instead, we have riots in Atlanta and Detroit over "free" vouchers and Obama telling New Orleans residents that "free" health care is just the beginning of his something-for-nothing programs for the slackers. Not suprisingly, they were almost orgasmically yelling "yes we can (steal more tax money)"!

I am intrigued by the possibilities... there are two directions this could have gone:

1. Lotsa sex with your girlfriend who has lots of free time to go to the gym and keep fit and... have sex.

or

2. She sits on the couch and eats lotsa ice cream while watching hours and hours of Jerry Springer, Maury, and all the Judge shows. She gets fat, doesn't take care of herself, and well... she isn't as attractive as she used to be.

she has a steady income for 99 weeks. that alone would make her attractive to alot of men. the pt. is how much more does a regular job have to pay for her to get a job. it is 1900 a month for staying at home and doing nothing.
will a job playing $2000/ month be an incentive? how about $3000/month? how about $4000/month maybe $6000/month is necessary?

The solution is simple compassionate and market oriented.

Set up the benefits so that they decrease 5% a month down to a much lower number. then that low number could become a workfare situation. Where people come to work doing things the state needs done in exchange for very low pay, foodstamps and clothes stamps.

I would be willing to bet that you are not in the top tax braket, just a hunch. So, here is some news for you. If the BUSH TAX CUTS FOR THE RICH GO AWAY. Your tax rate will increase as well. 28%? How are you gona like that Change? I'm guessing your in the 15%-22% tax bracket for next year, as you make less than 100k but over 30k Nevertheless, if you make 32k, your tax will be around 28%-something like that. The more you make in the 40s there about .... 28% or more in Tax, and that is just FEDERAL.

Add in state, sales, etc and your paying almost 40% of your wages to the sumbags in Washington.


So my guess is your gona be one broke ass Progressive next year, as you have little of any choice for right offs if your W2d if they do not extend the BUSH CUTS.


So, the PROGRESSIVES would like the rich to pay more and lie to the, lower to upple middle class that they will not be paying more in tax. Remember, those who make a shit ton of money have avenues to put it to work and get right offs that middle class do not!
