The form of government currently in control of the U.S. is a plutocracy.

The wealthiest in this country own and/or control the popular media, which influence at every level the beliefs of the larger population (the majority). It’s critical for the plutocracy (the minority) to manufacture beliefs that keep the majority from recognizing the current form of government and changing it once they realize it does not benefit them nor provide liberty and justice for all.

The division of beliefs into black/white “us vs. them” categories and the simplification of those categories via the condensation of complex issues into emotionally charged easily digestible phrases keep the majority from exerting meaningful influence upon, or exacting meaningful change to, its governing forces (the plutocracy).

Democrats vs. republicans; religious vs. atheist; black vs. white; citizens vs. illegals; divisions created to provide our lives with meaning through belonging to a group that has a common enemy to focus on. At the core: not much different from bloods vs. crips.

Here are some examples of beliefs that have no basis in reality, yet have been manufactured by the plutocracy via the corporate-controlled media:

We are a democracy. (Reality: We are a plutocracy.)

The popular media are controlled by liberals; the popular media are controlled by conservatives. (Reality: The popular media are controlled by the plutocracy.)

Mammograms prevent breast cancer. (Reality: Mammograms can detect breast cancer.)

Dairy products are healthy wholesome foods. (Reality: Dairy products promote tumor growth in vitro and in vivo, and are correlatively linked to many diseases.)

We have a health care industry. (Reality: We have a disease care industry.)

Escape the web of deception and open your eyes to reality by first reading (or re-reading) George Orwell's "Animal Farm" and "1984". Then read every book written by Noam Chomsky.

By the way, for those who believe in the myth of public education: The public and private religious education systems are the primary means by which the plutocracy indoctrinates our children to become, and remain, compliant with the manufactured belief systems that benefit it.

This country is in a jobless, jumbled shit pool of conflicting Econ News, mixed inflation...IE: FOOD & Energy inflation, Wages falling or stagnet and retail, big ticked items depression.

Unemployment numbers will continue to hover around 400k for the next year as the states and fed gov lay off after the holidays.

Congress will be forced into a "Euro Style Slashing of "Social Benefits" or a old school euro style of 'dependencey'.

Lets see if DC has the balls to truly cut Social programs, unemployment and risk riots and protest like what is happening in Euro land.

I say, They will not.
