Jem, I am aware of lawyer speak and that the term judgement is usually used in civil cases whereas the term conviction is generally used in criminal cases. I am using the vernacular in attempting to communicate with Optionpro007. it is that simple. I don't want to muddy the waters with too much legalese. I am not writing a court filing. I am using the term conviction in the sense that it is understood by the general public. In the case of impeachment for example, we use the term "conviction" to describe the instance where the impeached is found guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors. But this is a conviction without sentencing, i.e., without judgement.I read the complaint.
I am not licensed in New York State so I am not going to say it was not a criminal complaint... but if you look at the last few pages there were no prayers seeking incarceration hence there seemed to be no threat of the "formal convictions" piezoe was ranting about.
Let's please avoid nit picking, and stick with the important question. Is there evidence of Trump and his Family's wrong doing in the case of the Donald J. Trump Foundation? Yes, there is. Its a civil case.
