Brass,

do some due diligence on Tongkat ali and Mucuna pruriens.

Tongkat hits the leydig cells and Mucuna adrenals.

I defer to those with greater knowledge.

I live in Australia and customs is red hot so looking for advice to increase test?

Dopaminergics and tongkat are of little help to guys over 50. Best to start 100mg of DHEA or go to prescription HRT.

Creatine monohydrate. Little mention or discussion of it. It enhances muscle growth, aids fat loss, side effects include increased self-confidence, focus, memory, and intelligence. Almost impossible to get from a normal diet unless you eat half a cow per day.

I'll let others ellaborate.

Creatine is one of the few supplements with some peer-reviewed scientific research backing it.

I eat little meat other than fish oil capsules. I get plenty of quality protein from whey, non-fat plain yogurt, skim milk and eggs.

I have taken creatine and should, since I eat no red meat, really benefit from it.

But I haven't.

When I have taken creatine I have put on around 6 pounds of water weight in a matter of a few weeks, which ends up masking my vascularity (but increasing my strength). When I stop, I drop the weight in a matter of days and end up back where I started.

If I were playing football and needed the extra weight and strength, I'd take it. But I am in my mid-40's and just want to keep looking like a million bucks as long as I can. For what I want, creatine doesn't provide it.

I completely agree.

Thanks mate. DHEA is a prescription medication here in Australia. Was a knee jerk reaction to the whole Pro-Hormone thing when we hosted 2000 Olympics.
On my last bottle.
I'm late 30's age and Tongkat does the job. Mucuna gives a bit of assistance.
End of the day it's about eating right and training hard. Don't mind bit of an edge though.
Nice thread here and will continue to follow.

Cheers

Take this to your doc and ask him if this is good for you:

The only drug you should take is an 81 mg aspirin.
Stay away from the rest of that junk!
Eat vegetables, apples, bananas, raisins, a steak twice a month.
Ride your bicycle, walk, jog, shoot a basketball and/or a round of golf on a regular basis.
Have positive thoughts.
Listen to Led Zeppelin.

I have no affiliation with this business except that of a customer:

http://www.tongkatali.org/

Resellers are listed on the website.

I hear you with regards to other formulations.

Glad it worked for you. I bought the 200:1 extract from that site, a few years ago, with zero effect. Later, Serge Kruez (sp?), a big promoter of Sumatra Pasak Bumi, said the 50:1 extract generally produced a stronger effect than the 200:1. Which did you buy?

As far as Tongkat goes, I know it works. I ran 2 bottles of Diesel Test Hardcore (old formulation) that listed Tongkat as the main ingredient. The effects were crazy. Not just on libido and erections, but confidence, swag, calmness and a profound sense of well-being. I really felt like I was "on" something. I wouldn't mind buying more TA, but rather get my test levels up naturally. Also, how safe is TA?
