All the physical evidence, overhear screams in 911 calls, and other information indicates this is a fact. The court established that this was an accepted fact by the results of the trial.
The evidence shows Martin was beating Zimmerman up,I agree,but the evidence also shows Martin tried to get away from Zimmerman and Zimmerman pursued Martin. There is no video or eyewitness of Martin attacking Zimmerman first so the person who tried to get away is the person who should get the benefit of doubt of self defense.
All the other evidence including the injuries on both people show you are incorrect. Only Trayvon had bruising on his knuckles showing he was punching someone. All the physical and other evidence fully backs Zimmerman's account. With the court having the last word if demonstrating that Zimmerman acted in self-defense and was not the aggressor.
When Trayvon is sitting on top on Zimmerman punching him; not allowing Zimmerman to get away then Zimmerman is perfectly justified in shooting him as outlined by both the law and court decision.
No difference legally. Zimmerman was merely walking his neighborhood and was justified under the stand-your-ground law. The lady was justified under the castle law to defend her office space.
The similarity of the two cases is how stupid the families are in defending their thug sons, pulling out younger pictures of them in attempt to show how "innocent" they are, and endlessly whining to the media demanding the victim be prosecuted.

Zimmerman is legally allowed to walk on public walkways in his neighborhood to see where a suspicious person is going so he can report it to police.
When the Zimmerman/Martin incident happened, I was initially on the other side of the issue based on the early media reports. However the early media reports proved to be biased and factually incorrect. As more evidence came out I switched my stance based on the facts of the situation. You can see this if you search my posts on ET at the time when the Zimmerman incident happened.
Good luck with your assertion. In any of the scenarios occurring in a stand-your-ground state the black man would not be brought to trial if evidence indicates the white teen attacked the black man.
