this one example- only one of many- that i teach my students:

black line very big breakout with no pb grey line big bar......in this situation DO NOT take any pb buy signal and be ALERT for any pb buy signal failure........red line is buy signal FAILURE.........blue line is huge bear bar so do not take any pb sell signal after that and be alert for sell signal FAILURE. green lines are all signs of bull strength... brown line are all weak bears bars...yellow lines are strong bull bars followed by two weak bear bars marked by yellow line and it is buy above those two weak bear bars

i want to say that i use Brooks' defined H1/2 L1/ 2 as entries.

to trade correctly you need to know which to signal take....H1/2 0R L1/2....and that means knowing and judging the prevalent market sentiment.

this is critical.

i must again thank all those who trusted me to tech them-there are not many of those trusting folks.

but i must thank them even more for grilling me and treating me like an expert.....and asking all sorts of questions

which not only tested me but forced me to justify the method i was teaching and in doing so i actually discovered all the intricacies of that which i was touting !.

the end result was that i probably benefited more from my mentoring than them.

i think new trading day we must acknowledge that ,no matter how well you did the last trading session, trading is a highly difficult activity......not to be taken lightly

mentors can teach and our preachers can preach.....

but what the scriptures teach us, how many can really appreciate the wisdom and value of those lessons.

and that is the problem

The universe is so vast , our minds the tools that we use to fathom the reality that is around us, so inconsequential, tiny,..........that we not only only ignore the pearls and jewels that life throws our way, but angrily curse the fate that brings that largesse our way.

it takes years of disappointments to realise that the pain we feel, is the result of things that we do and that we have the choice not to do them.
