Memo to Obama - blame the Dems for racism, not Republicans

The history lesson is silly, as I have already shown.

The current democratic party, just like the current republican party, is far removed from their history.

Only ignorant regressives ignore the reality that the name of a party is meaningless, you have to look at the current leadership to determine where a political party is at...not looking back to the past.

The current president, a republican voted in twice by republican supporters, has supported amnesty programs for illegals, seen the spending and size of government increase, etc. etc. etc.

The initial article was foolish in the point it was trying to make, but that is to be expected of right wingers in their attempt to run away from the reality of where racism is most alive...the deep, very red right wing south.

Strawman, but hey, let's see here, you can't be talking about Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Arkansas, or Tennessee, as the Dems have seen victories in all of those states during the past four elections. Heck, in Louisiana, Arkansas, and Tennessee, the Dems have won two of the last four.

Now, back to the question you continue to dodge and evade: What is racist about the Republican party again?

It has been shown, I can't help that you can't see it...

The history lesson is not relevant to the claims that the dems are to blame for racism, it is factually and fundamentally an argument without foundation or supporting evidence when the view of history includes the past 40 years.

In addition, the very existence of racism in this country predates both republican and democratic party.

It is a hack article, poorly written with a weak argument at its core.

Blame goes to those who have the power to stop something, and then don't do anything.

In the past 40 years we had republican presidents from 1968 through 1976, then from 1980 to 1992, and now from 2000 to present. Republicans had/have the power and opportunity to end racism, but they did not...

Republicans could have voted in black congressmen and senators in the states they control, but that has not happened.

Fact is, Bush and his government and their failure to quickly help the poor black people of New Orleans during Katrina did nothing but reinforce the lack of concern for the poor blacks living there. The lack of a timely response to that disaster only increased the feelings that republicans don't care about the poor black of this country...which helps to keep the racist feelings alive.

This administration dumps billions into Iraq, while the poverty level increases here at home, jobs are lost, racial tensions continue, and illegals are allowed to take the jobs away from Americans as they will work under the table.

If anything, Bush has shown that he hates Americans as he has no problem with the continuation of poverty, crime, failing education, etc.

Really, a stupid, stupid, stupid article.

Fact is, there were failures across ALL levels of government - federal, state, city. But typical of left-wing moonbats suffering from Bush Derangement Syndrome to blame everything on Bush.
