"Vermin" is an inaccurate characterization designed to evoke an emotional response to a "issue" that has little going for it when it comes to logical or popular support. The children are safe in their cages with law enforcement around. Their basic needs are apparently being provided for.
Children have been used to evoke sympathy in law enforcement for a long time. I know this from personal experience as a child myself when my aunt and uncle used to run drugs. We were pulled over one day and a highway patrolman seized the illegal drugs but let us go. Also as a child, I was instructed by my mother to take a large garbage bag of marijuana to the roof via fire escape in the event of law enforcement knocking on our New York City apartment door.
There is almost certainly a practical reason for the children to be separated. You have previously stated there are over 2000 children in these camps. This is not counting the adults. This is an overwhelming number of people to deal with on short notice. What caused the sudden huge increase in people wanting to cross into the U.S? Was it media coverage? Was it organizing by the Radical Left?
Is the coverage of this "issue" really Radical Left attempting to influence the upcoming 2018 elections?
