Exactly...
The United States and Canada as in North America are mainly open now even with the uptick in the Delta Variant of Covid.
Thus, I see those complaining about restrictions and / or lockdowns elsewhere...they must be actually residing in those countries or a citizen of those countries...as in the United Kingdom.
It's one of the reasons why I jump all over
@Buy1Sell2 because he and a few other have typically been doing such...bitches about something occurring in England that no longer is occurring in North America while at the same time he throws in the political bullshit (e.g. calling people anti-american) when a discussion has
nothing to do with the United States.
That's the problem with most of these
Covidiots...they keep bringing politics into a health crisis and it results in the health crisis getting worst. They're doing it intentionally because they don't like the fact that their guy lost. Just as stupid / strange...they'll bring that Trump idiot into the health crisis discussion in another country (e.g. England).
Pure Stupidity
Regardless, during the holidays from July 1st (Canada Day) to July 4th (Independence Day)...I had friends over for the first time in about 15 months and we're
all fully vaccinated.
With that said, the Covid situation in England is greatly different than here in North America. I don't live there, not a citizen of England but the England Covidiots here at the forum...I'm not surprise that infections are surging there but people forget one thing about increasing vaccinations...
- The infections are milder and the infected have a better survival outcome if/when they become infected after being vaccinated. Simply, less deaths.
There's no vaccine ever that has 100% efficacy. Yet, if people don't want to take Covid vaccine...that's their right but they should not be allowed to use resources / services while unmasked that others are using more freely as a vaccinated person because vaccines
do not have a 100% efficacy.
As I've stated, I'm enjoying life again as a vaccinated person with my vaccinated friends. I myself was not allowed to take one vaccine (AstraZeneca) because I have an underlying medical condition (an allergy) that was discover via an illness in 2016.
Strange way for me to view this...the illness that almost killed me in 2016 may have saved my life in 2021 because it pinpointed the correct Covid vaccine for me to take. In the French culture...we tend to refer to that as
lucky in my unluck.
Regardless to the country someone is located in...a person needs to sit down and weigh the benefits versus risk of being vaccinated in comparison to not being vaccinated.
Then if they choose to get vaccinated...
- I highly recommend that they get a complete physical with full blood chemistry work to ensure they have no underlying medical condition that can cause an adverse reaction to the vaccine...
The latter most don't do.
Covid will be with us for the rest of our life and possibly for most of the lives of our children because I do not see people doing the right thing to
remove the political bullshit from a Covid health crisis nor see people doing the right thing to change their social interaction habits to minimize the spread of a disease
during a health crisis.
- People in general are selfish jerks and they view their desires more important than the health of others.
Thus, there are just too many
assholes out there trying to make life very difficult for others. Hopefully, Covid and future diseases (there will be other Pandemics) will weed out these idiots that think they have the right to threaten the health of others.
P.S. Life is open again here in Québec. I'm looking forward to being able to travel and vacation again to my other home in South France and Chicago...visiting relatives in South Dakota, Kentucky and Arizona.
Yeah, its time for me to get one of those Vaccination Passports.
