No, that is incorrect. Options/Edit Prefs does not set timeframe at all. It is just used to configure timeframes, not select them. And selecting the timeframe on a chart sets it for that symbol, not just that chart - so if you have multiple charts on that symbol open, all will be affected.Quote from shfly:

not likely. You can run 2 instances of QT on the same computer if you want through. They have to be in separate install directories and the shortcuts have to have ALLOWDUP commandline parameter
