You can link windows in QT - when you change a symbol in one linked window, the others change automatically. The beta version supports multiple link groups

Dual Axis charting - you mean having 2 symbols on the same chart? If so, not at this time. If you mean something else, then please give me details

yes by dual axis i mean having one chart with price of both sides of the box.

Don't have any plans to apply global alerts to specific portfolios. Alerts are on symbols, not on portfolios - a symbol may be in multiple portfolios for example. The alerts will only be triggered if QT is getting data on the given symbol, so even if the alert is global, if a symbol is not being quoted, then there would be no alerts. Are you getting quotes on all portfolios? If so, maybe not doing that would be better, and just set QT to auto backfill when you open charts.

Cannot combine multiple alerts. I would like to make alerts on indicators and other computations in the future. No ETA (y, I know that would be the next question :) )

jerry, if you can update the alerts to where we can set an alert x cents or for example say for 5 cents aways above or below a pivot price that would be awesome.

I have my historical stock chart (use Yahoo backfill), 1/5/15/60 min charts, level 2 & real time sales all linked together.

I still do not know how to get historical charts for futures without typing symbols.

When I move my cross hair, it'd be better if it shows in all linked charts like in eSignal & other softwares.

It will be better if I can have swing hi/lo price shown in the charts too.

You can have the axis on left or right, but not both.

As for the alerts X cents from pivots, we do not currently support alerts on indicators. Is something being considered.

Hist charts - if you use Yahoo as Historical backfill, you won't be able to get historical charts since they do not support futures. If you have IQFeed, eSignal, Prophet.net, TradeStream or CyberTrader (soon), then you would work.

Linked Cross-hair - something we will look at in the future
Swing hi/low - what exactly are you referring to? Note you can put HIGH/LOW or prev day HIGH/LOW on the chart now

how about more flexibility to create custom indicators ?

Things like MRO in tradestation and ValueWhen in metastock is not available in quotetracker.

balda,

PM, email or just post the things that you think should be more customizable. We always want new ideas.

We are not likely to add custom indicators. If there is a particular indicator that you would like to see in QT, email us with the information about it (URL to the description and formula), or post the request on our message boards. Frequently such requests are filled within days

Ive started playing around with a tick chart which I would like to set to 24 hrs but this also sets my time chart for the same symbol to 24 hours. Is there any way to get around this?
