Add my voice to that request.

I use both QCharts and QuoteTracker, but QT is my backup, mostly because the autoscaling drives me crazy.

My visually oriented noggin wants a fixed scale too. I'll happily shift and rescale when things wander off the chart.

QCharts almost does it right, but it often fails to do the "remember scaling and positioning" thing correctly when switching between symbols.

So, my wish would be for a mode that leaves both the vertical scale & positioning static and in control of the user, and remembers (forever) the settings for each symbol.

It'd be great if QT offered the same charting that Prophet offered for example...all in one spot. I'd pay a premium for that.

I need something that is all in one, and doesn't cost a fortune. Sure, I can go to Tradestation, but I can't afford the fees.

Overall, however, QT is the bombdiggity!!

LOL...nice. I was looking at that a few days ago, and I didn't even recognize just how familiar it looked...

The charting is still rather below par compared to going straight to Prophet, and thumbing through my watch list and boom boom boom, seeing the charts scroll one after another (and being able to customize them more...etc).

After looking at certain criteria, I take a list of stocks (let's say twelve match my criteria), and I export them to CSV format, then copy and paste them as bulk into Prophet's Watch List, where I then click on JavaCharts to run through all of them, eliminate them down further to say, six stocks that match my final criteria, then I edit my charts, and save them.

Now..that's my routine. So...if I could have the flexibility of my watch list integrating into charts, with good studies such as Fibonacci, along with the ability to customize my indicators more (like I can with Prophet moreso than QT's version from Prophet) and superimpose multiple day charts onto one (to do custom trend lines), all for a price no more than 50 a month, then, "you'd have me at hello"...

thanks for the feedback this is unfortunate to hear because i have read so many good things about your product.

What is the most affordable combo to have if i have to have another broker? I am new at trading still an am currently uncapitalized for now. but getting there slowly.

Maybe i will E-mail them to add streaming data. I doubt they will listen to one guy

1) you can customize QT intraday charts to your heart's content. Just about everything can be adjusted.

2) You can scroll through symbols in QuoteTracker as well. Thats what the LINK button on top right of the chart window is for.

3) Fibonacci - OK, QT has that, along with tons of others.

Superimpose - QT has translucency where you can put one chart over the other. Not the most elegant, but suffices.

Custom Trendlines - You really can't get trendlines any easier than click and raw, which is what QuoteTracker is don't.

As for Java Charts, QT will be implementing the historical charts so they will work same way as intraday ones in the near future.

Copy/Paste list of symbols - not a problem in either WatchList or Portfolio in QuoteTracker.

But QuoteTracker also adds tons of stuff, like streaming news, integrated trading, advanced alerts, user defined paint bars, etc, etc..

Really depends on what you need. If you are going to be trading 1500 shares or less, you are better of with per share commissions

That is true. I guess I should clarify -- I was elluding to historical charting. And I should point out that because of the strategies I use, historical is more important to me than intraday charts. Sorry for not pointing that out.

True...I didn't think about that...

I did not notice the Fibonacci when you right-click on the trend line...I love right-click functionality, which is one reason why I love this product...ease and powerful...

I will be patiently waiting for that. I don't like Snapcharts...is the break in lines that are drawn on the charts a problem created by using Snapcharts? I notice this and I thought maybe it was just a setting somewhere, but I figured maybe it's because of a problem with Snapcharts.
