BSAM - yes, doing end process would have fixed it. NOTE: If this is a recurring problem, please let us know so we can try identifying/fixing it.

BSAM - I've had QT freeze up on me once before. Not quite sure what caused it but I think it was the graphics card.

How many charts did you have up? Lots of indicators? Gradient backgrounds? Lots of symbols?

What hardware are you running? Big 24" or 30" monitors? graphics card and amount of memory, ram, processor speed? etc... Maybe it was a bottleneck in your system???

Just throwing some ideas out there.

Thank you for your feedback, but I believe I'm running with more than enough horsepower. Had on one chart. Don't use indicators. Had about 15 symbols on the watch list.

I want to see if this is truly great software or some kind of organized cheerleading festival. I have several brokers MB Trading, IB. So I downloaded the software selected MB Trading server, entered the symbol /esm6 in the quote list, from what I can gather so far that is the only way to open a chart is from the quote list. opened a intraday chart, and a historical chart and got this.

You need to change the historical backfill vendor to MB, then it should work fine. QT is a great product.

Got a historical chart for MSFT. I like being able to open a chart and change from minute to daily to tick. With the open historical chart of msft I can not change to a 5 minute timeframe still fooling around here and need more time to figure things out.

I am not quit sure what time period I am looking at here. Looks like one month 23 bars I guess.

Organized cheerleading festival. We all used to be cheerleaders
in both high school and college. Just carrying on the tradition...:p

What were you trading in 1978-1979? I see your support speech for Quote Tracker has not changed much.
