Hi

Is it possible to customise the Time&Sales window of QT? I'd like to apply differrent colors to highlight trades above/at/below bid/ask. Ideally the whole line would appear in the respective color.

The time/sales is in the same color scheme as the main quote table window. Those colors are carefully matched to work together. You can change the whole color scheme, but the colors are a set.
 
Today I had quite some troubles with IB backfill. Futures backfill worked fine, but I got NO stocks backfilled.

Anybody with the same problem or a solution?

Talk to your local Backfiller. They are the source of your problem.
QT is flawless when it comes to this kind of thing... :cool:
 
I did notice that I have to request backfill of all symbols but other than than it seemed to work well.

Now if IB would offer free streaming indices, free Level-II and free streaming news I could close my Ameritrade Apex backup account and ship those funds over to IB. :D

Gotta have data sources for all of these great QT features.

IB had some issues today with the backfill data.

Scott, not sure what you mean by "I have to request backfill for all symbols"? You mean it would not work for individual ones but would if you requested all?

Indices - IB does support many indices but we have not configured them in QT as an index source because IB only supported 40 symbols. Now that the limit has been increased, we will add them as an index source. I just have to find the time to go through all the usual index symbols that we have built in and find the corresponding ones for IB.
 
I think it would help if you had a hotkey for "backfill all symbols"...

btw arca streaming feed does not seem to work with QT for me... anyone else having this problem?

the java applet from tradearca.com works...

I had a similar request. I have about 10 different portfolios "hidden" since there would be too many symbols for my datafeed plus bandwidth (tho I actually don't know how many simultaneous streaming qoutes I could sustain with cable internet anyone have a clue? 100 500 1000??).

Anyway About 3 times a day I scan thru these portfolios based on percentage of range and percent gain. It would be nice if a minute or 2 before I do that if I could universally backfill ALL portfolios. The wold make things a bit faster then bringing up each portfolio then backfilling it.

This is just a minor detail tho would be nice.
