Yet, doctors are retiring in droves because Medicare reimbursement rates are way below their overhead. Other doctors just sign up with hospitals so that, they get a fixed salary. No overhead to worry about but, they have maybe, 200 patients a day. My doctor now sees me for 10 minutes and he is in a hurry to get out of the room. Used to give me 30 minutes of his time. Now, that too is gone. Good luck finding a doctor those advocating for Medicare for All. And were not even in the best part of it. Rationing is coming and those extreme liberals advocating for Medicare for All will find that they will be excluded because they are too old, say 60 years old and dying anyways, why waste treatment on you when there is 25 year old waiting for chemotheraphy too? The Medical Advisory Board will decide who deserves to get any treatment at all. Death panels anyone?

They have no choice? Those who have achieved enough to become a doctor or those truly capable of becoming a doctor are smart enough to have tons of other choices.
So we'll be left with the lower end of doctors. Great plan.
If money is more important to them than providing healthcare fuck em,let them go do something else.We dont need those kind of doctors anyway.
Btw a lot of people said that about Obamacare and there was no mass exodus of doctors

1. As the researcher noted. Medicare is an extremely efficient government operation....I know...hard to believe!
2.5% overhead vs industry 12.5%.
2. 34% of healthcare dollars spent in the U.S. yearly are administrative. Twice as much as Canada. 42% of healthcare costs reimbursed to hospitals and physicians. 2.4% of annual health care costs are pegged to medical liability.
3. The U.S. ranked last place among the 11 countries for health outcomes, equity and quality, despite having the highest per capita health earnings. 2. The U.S. also had the highest rate of mortality amenable to healthcare, meaning more Americans die from poor care quality than any other country involved in the study.Jul 10, 2018.
4. Medicare probably would have collapsed years ago if reimbursements to providers (physicans, hospitals, pharmacies, drug co.) were not substantially reduced.
