I just read all the sport analysts articles on why he was not re-hired by any team -- their take is that is simply that he is not NFL material for continuing in a QB role. Of course these characters are trying to find any excuse to get around the elephant in the room and claim his lack of employment has nothing to do with his kneeling protests.
The bottom line is that you would have to be the over-the-top best quarterback in the NFL for any team to consider hiring you after his behavior has been a lightening-rod that no NFL team owner is willing to touch. The team that hires Kaepernick will immediately lose over 40% of their fans & the associated revenue. Which owner in their right mind is going to take that hit.

I could go on and on with this.Anybody who knows football knows a guy with a 90 QB rating,60% completion % and 4.0 touchdown to interception ratio is starting NFL QB material.Around 15 starting QB's have better numbers than these and around 15
starting QB's have numbers that are worst.
I wasn't arguing that point.I was refuting that he is not NFL material for continuing in a QB role.In every major passing statistic Kaepernick is better than 10-15 of the current starting QB's.
He isn't being hired because he is a bad player and a bad person. He hates America, he hates police, and he is a racist.
However, he is at least as good as some of slop like Dak Prescott.

My theory is these guys had the option of running so they did not have to make the tough throws. So they either never developed accuracy or never had the talent for it. Good quarterbacks have a fluid arm that can still make accurate passes from bad stance into tight spots. Kap would miss by miles. Not even close to nfl quality misses. they were startling at times.

In the long term, a quarterback's running ability is considered a complementary skill and one that historically fades with age or because of injuries. Scrambling ability and arm strength are secondary to whether you can hit the target.
All passers miss throws, but Kaepernick over the past two seasons has done it as much or as more as anyone. It's hardly surprising that teams didn't rush to sign him in the opening days of free agency. Realistically, he's vying for the kind of veteran backup job that often doesn't get filled until after the draft or later. That deal is going to be worth a fraction of the $14 million he earned last season.
