Maybe this Colin Kaepernick has a point?

Carroll doesn't make the final decision to sign him or not.An owner that already has a starting QB who is better than Kap is certainly not going to sign him.

Maybe you should read the post you quoted again. They weren't looking at his as a starting QB, they were looking at him as a backup and still said no. They wouldn't have asked for the workout if they weren't interested.

Carroll might have been looking at Kaepernick as a backup but decided he was starting materiel which he certainly is.If you know anything about football you know have 2 starting QB's on a football team is not a good thing.

Thanks for confirming you now little about football. How many teams have 2 starting QB's on their roster?

When a team does have 2 starting QB's on their roster from a backup that has developed starting potential or the draft they get rid of one.Kaepernick /Smith,Prescott/ Romo,Manning/Luck,Rodgers/Farve,Brady /Garoppolo,/Brady /Bledsoe,Brees/Rivers etc.A team with a good healthy QB rarely signs another starting QB in free agency.

ROTFLMAO!!!!!

There's such a thing as a salary cap? If the second QB is that good, positively able to beat out another QB, they'd play not sit the bench and /or demand a nice price. $'s are the main driver here, not ego's.

Kaepernick would be happy to take what ever is offered him at this point, hence why he tried out and failed.

Edit, I'm sure Carroll was thinking of it in this context, the ability to sign a good back up without the salary concerns. But alas, Kaepernick couldn't perform even to a discounted level.

Kaepernick is not better than Wilson. The seahawks don't want Wilson playing concerned about losing his job.
