There was even one named eye witness, but the witness went into hiding, and since then no one has bothered to compel him to testify. I guess we are on to juicier events now. It seems there is nothing a good Christian like yourself enjoys more than a lurid story of sexual "misconduct," and nothing that is more "media friendly" too. Maybe Gaetz will fall back on the Henry Hyde defense, i.e., "It was youthful indiscretion," although Hydes misadventure was an extramarital affair with a married women, apparently something somewhat more acceptable than with a 17 year-old.

Actually, there was no evidence whatsoever in the case of Kavanaugh. Had there been, I would have advocated the nomination be withdrawn and any possible punishment pursued albeit the statute of limitations would probably have expired
