Matt Gaetz being investigated over sexual relationship with a 17 year old girl

Isn't this issue "subjective"?

17 is legal age in Colorado with "close in age" exceptions as young as 15.

Some other states have "close in age" exceptions also.

Yes... but paying a girl under 18 or taking them across state lines for sex is illegal under Federal law.

Right now, it's a non-thread with no facts having been presented yet.
If he is guilty of this, he should be punished. Right now, there have been no facts nor evidence presented, so I'll reserve judgement until then.

Good to know we pick and choose who he criminals are. Hunter Biden did the same thing. Prolly 10x worse, censored pictures are out there for proof. Pretty sick IMO. How about the Hollywood pedo's. Should bust some of those bastards. I'd expect any serious law enforcement would.
FYOI, there are actually more reliable places to get news than social media.

That you are aware of. But the rest of us read the NYT, and WAPO. If you used more reliable news sources , you'd have learned by now that Biden won the election.

You certainly are guilty as charged. By the way, the evidence of election fraud was massive as demonstrated by thousands of depositions, video and written evidence.

Christine Blah-Blah Ford continues to accuse Brett Kavanaugh without evidence.
The interesting thing in that case was that there was a mountain of circumstantial evidence available that was studiously ignored. There was even one named eye witness, but the witness went into hiding, and since then no one has bothered to compel him to testify. I guess we are on to juicier events now. It seems there is nothing a good Christian like yourself enjoys more than a lurid story of sexual "misconduct," and nothing that is more "media friendly" too. Maybe Gaetz will fall back on the Henry Hyde defense, i.e., "It was youthful indiscretion," although Hydes misadventure was an extramarital affair with a married women, apparently something somewhat more acceptable than with a 17 year-old.

Actually, there was no evidence whatsoever in the case of Kavanaugh. Had there been, I would have advocated the nomination be withdrawn and any possible punishment pursued albeit the statute of limitations would probably have expired
