haha sweetie,..We, 2 sisters like to go to the same places/bars like Paulaner@Fan Yang Road with my friends, especially my american friends, they like the authentic german sauerkraut & sausage and the beer. I prefer to sit at the booth upstairs which are more comfortable. and yes,yes sweetie.. i like Lan Kwai Fong at Park 97 too! We can eat at Baci Italian cuisine restaurant and dance away our calories in California Club or in Park 97 with live music.
i'm sure all your boyfriends and girlfriends will bring you to the coolest and hottest places in Shanghai when you're there..

Sometime, i am old-fashioned, so i like to go to the endeared, legendary Jazz bar in the "Peace Hotel". I also like the "willow stream spa" there too i like going to the little ancient town "Qibao" for old chinese street food and little ancient water town "Zhujajiao".. i just love looking at the old unique bridges across the bubbling streams and small rivers shaded by willow trees.
Very beautiful and peaceful feeling.

matcha, have you seen the "ERA" Acrobatics Extravaganza Show in Shanghai? I always bring my american friends to watch the amazing extra-ordinary acrobatics show when they visit me in Shanghai and they loved/enjoyed it so much!.

Gosh!.. there're so many wonderful things you can do in Shanghai, no wonder you're fully booked and no time to trade..
sweetie.. you have a great time in Hong Kong and Shanghai.

I think in general engineers make better traders than lawyers and doctors (many my colleagues and friends are doctors) if they have a good intuition about market functioning, because of the math training and the nature of their work (designing model, optimize parameters and test them in reality and to make it works finally) provided them with some edges. But again, any one who has a good intuition about the market behavior and a solid understanding of math should be good at trading after years of hard working. NoDoji has very good intuitions and a good grasp with numbers, so it is natural that she gets to become consistently profitable so quickly.
By the way, I was in Hong Kong last week, visiting a lot of relatives, enjoying seafood and taking the kids to the Ocean Park. The last time I visited Hong Kong was 10 years ago, and this time is more fun.

Just imagine.. strolling along the Bund in the romantic atmosphere with all the Beautiful Gothic, Romanesque & Renaissance, Neo-Classical and Art Deco Architectural Buildings and over ~looking the Huangpu River and Spectacular View of Pudong ..Wow!.. It's amazingly beautiful and romantic!

There is Temple steet and Women's steet in Monkok. I can feel lots of young energy while walking at Monkok area. Lots of young kids! Also, tons of street food! I like The Langham hotel Monkok near by. The shops in in the building are all nice and affordable. I like "I.T." they carry some unique contemporary designer brands. And the little "i.t." is cool for younger custemers. The energy in Monkok is very different with TST. More tourists carry designer labels in TST boosting HongKong economy

Yes, Langham Place/Hotel became my favorite place in Monkok. Best indoor shopping in the area. They have lots of good places to eat and shop inside the complex. From top to bottom through the long escalators. It is quite a place. There is a very nice CD store on the top floor.

Trading book - I started reading this very interesting book that I bought a while back but haven't touched it until now - Trading in the Zone, by Mark Douglas after browsing some of NoDoji's journal. NoDoji recommended it and it must be good! I just finished 2 chapters (total 11 chapters) and can't put it down. It is definitely a good book. It's kind of like a trading 201 class, after you have done the trading mechanics and methods classes. I think it will help me to move a step forward to be the type of trader I want to be - disciplined, focused and confident. He emphasizes on adjusting the attitudes and beliefs about trading. He wants you to truly accept the risk of trading and thus no longer be afraid when you pull the trigger. He works on trusting yourself.

The Peace Hotel in Shanghai and the Peninsula hotel in Hong Kong are nostalgia & classic beauty!! i adore them!! we ladies love to have "afternoon tea" there. i'm never "frugal' or "stingy" to the people/friends i like regardless which country they're from..i don't care if they're white or black or green or purple..all my friends are Not racist and they're Peace loving people ... so i'm always busy coz i have many
"'international" friends and they always love to visit me in Hong Kong & Shanghai.

Boli .. i hope you're using some of my trading strategy into/mix with your trading strategy..then the result is incredible lol.
