Think what you want. I’ve been in chess over 40 years. I know what I know and make no excuses.

In chess, boys are better than girls, and blacks are not as good as Chinese, Indians, Europeans.

I know you can’t accept what I’m saying. You simply can’t comprehend that some races have different strengths and weaknesses than others.
It doesn't matter in reality. Averages don't matter. My friend, white, who was one of the top 10k chess players in the US was beaten in 5 minute chess by a black man The place was Washington Square Park and he lost a few dollars.

I wonder when anyone is ever going to recognize the horror that were the African tribal leaders who were the ones who owned the slaves, and sold them to the white man for profits? Why don't we hear about that side of the story?
It's a bad story, to be sure, but it's not the American part of the story. Juneteenth is about the American part of the story.

No, you misunderstand me. I am saying that I believe that if the African slave owners simply did not do business with the WASP slave traders, we would not have the huge issue we had during the great slave trading of the 1800s.

I believe the African slave owners were enablers of the slave trade. You say that "white europeans basically created the trade of bringing slaves out of Africa and creating the institution in the new world. Once that started and the money was rolling in, the maintained that trade for over a century. If there were no European buyers rushing to ship off slaves to all the Americas there would not have been slavery like the scale we saw."

What I am saying is...If the African slave owners refused to sell their slaves to the white Euros, then maybe the slave trade would have ended then and there, or would not have been so prevalent.

All of this is close enough, but that’s pretty well covered when we learn about the triangle trade. Not that I’m against people understanding “totality of circumstance” but Juneteenth is about the end of slavery in America. “Free men, and free women, and free children, and freedom” as Thaddeus Stevens is alleged to have said, or something thereabouts.

FYI, my neighbors made a cake for Juneteenth. The lady and my wife are friendly, she said it was to remember how sweet freedom must have tasted. I thought that was nice.

...Here we are today, placing all of the blame on the African slave trade, and the existence of black slaves in America, on white people. But the Black people in Africa were also complicit in the slave trade! Nobody EVER says anything about that! Why? Is that racist?
No. America is only accepting its own history and responsibility, and celebrating the end of the scourge of slavery in its own country. Take a breath, bro.

The US was supposed to be an enlightened country. It essentially regarded other countries as lesser. Remember? An experiment. Founding fathers, and all that. Well, evidently, for a time, they were no better than the backwoods slave owners of uncivilized Third World countries. Perhaps Juneteenth is a celebration of a rise to some semblance of decency and rectitude. Although there are elements here that would evidently like to take it backwards a step or two.
