There is a rather large elephant in the room that the dems wont talk about for good reasons.
The official dem party line is that every accuser is to be believed just for having the balls to accuse, and that only republican neandethals or dems who have a death wish will suggest that there are fake accusers out there.
The elephant in the room, however, is that the dems are religiously clinging to this Christine Ford case because she is the best they got. And you do not see the committee- couple exceptions I guess- having any real interest in going near the several other flake-ball accusers- out of morbid fear that their blatant fucking lies and stories will undermine their mantra that all accuser must be believed. There are some real frigging loons out there and they know it, and you know it, and avenneti says he has a thousand more. There is not a person on that committee on on this forum- lefty or conservative- who does not know that there are plenty of fake accusers out there just waiting for their fifteen minutes of fame.
That is also another risk that the dems are taking when they try to manipulate the investigation that trump ordered to start getting them to look at other accusers. The FBI might do just that and report back a bunch of things that dont add up for some of the flakeballs which will undercut the dems argument that every accuser is a righteous victim. As I said, Ford is the best they got and the consensus on her is that she seems sincere about wanting to tell her story but that some things are not right with her and her story. Be careful about rocking that boat too much by having the fbi report talk about some of the avenetti loons along with her. More is not always better when it comes to the accuser game.

In regard to the grouping together, it depends on what the point or issue is being addressed.
If statements are being made about how all accusers must be believed, blah, blah, blah and that is the main support for an accusers position, then, yes, sometimes it might be helpful to the accused or to the public to see what the entire group of accusers looks like. As I said, you have some real dingbats in there along with Ford, such that not even the dems want to go there.
An open examination of the dingbats proves beyond doubt that even the dems know that many accusers are flaky and fake and that undermines their narrative that all accusers must immediately be believed.
Although your binary mind cannot follow what I am saying, I am actually promoting the idea that each case must be reviewed individually rather than speaking against it. Dems and lefties who are argue that all accusers must immediately be believed to compensate for past injustices are the ones are advocating group think, not me.
So to repeat for those who ride the short bus to get to the forum every day, dems need to be careful about trying to expand this investigation into the swetneg/avenettie types. That could backfire and undermine Ford by demonstrating to the public- once again- that you have to be careful about bogus claims by flaky broads. As I said, most of the dems also see that. It was very noticeable where they did not want to go in that hearing and where they would have gone if they believed some things. One or two made some mention, but their collective strategy and pre-arrangement was to not go there and that was smart.

The dems won this thing, game, set and match. Feinstein pulled off a cynical gambit to end run the actual hearings and stall the nomination. She judged correctly that Chairman Grassley didn't have the stones to shut her down. However they turned up this woman, they could see she would be believable, particularly if there was not enough time to adequately research her personal history or her claims.
Now the republicans are on their back foot. Lindsey Graham's heroics seemed to have turned the tide, only for that despicable cuck Jeff Flake to pull the rug out from under him. Now we get another week of hysterics and attacks on republicans as sympathetic to rape and sexual assault.
Even if Kavanaugh is confirmed, which I believe is the likely outcome, he will always have a cloud over him. Dems have energized their leftwing base for the midterms. Republican voters are once again disgusted by their Senators' cowardice in the face of the enemy. Add in their determination to block Trump's wall but vote in yet another budget-busting massive omnibus spending bill, and republican voters have little incentive to go to the polls.
