wouldn't you think that most of his numbers (a-up, c-down, etc) have changed these last few years with the larger daily ranges and increased volatility?

If you watch the videos you will see the the points calculation is based on average over certain number of days. Thus this is taking into account expanding/shrinking volatility.

I do not use ACD, but his book is a great read for any trader.

They do change and he posts them on his website members area. I personally can say this book is worth it, but I use my own modified version of the information.
