I forgot to mention that all ballots are important because all votes are important regardless of the political party they vote for in an environment of high polarization in politics going into this U.S. presidential election.
Further, dismissing someone's vote as unimportant is a form of disenfranchisement and is just wrong when saying the ballots for that state are not important.
This is why I say "a win is a win" because we all know the faster a nominee clinches their party's nomination...the faster they can start campaigning for the U.S. Presidency.

As long as the Court agrees to hear Trump's appeal of the DC Circuit decision, even if the Court eventually upholds the Circuit Court's opinion, it's possible that the Supreme Court could cause such a delay in Trump's criminal trials as to keep him from being convicted before November. In which case, Trump might end up on the ballot and be re-elected. No logical reason for the Supreme Court to reconsider the DC Circuit opinion has yet been identified by the appellant.. If the High Court agrees to hear Trump's appeal of the DC circuit decision, it will cause yet another unnecessary delay in Trump's numerous trials. We all recognize delay as the raison d'etre for Trump's appeals in the first place; these are appeals in which Trump has no reasonable hope of prevailing.
The question of a President's immunity from prosecution for crimes committed while in office was thoroughly adjudicated and settled years ago in Nixon v Fitzgerald. So would someone like to explain to me why the DC Circuit even agreed to hear Trump's appeal instead of simply rejecting his appeal and referring him to Nixon v Fitzgerald?
well that's at least a principled vote even if a dangerous one. All of us who realize the danger the country is in have an obligation to see that Trump never gets any where near the Oval Office again. And that requires, even if we have to hold our noises, that we vote for Biden so long as the polls show him to have the best chance of beating Trump.
I understand how difficult this would be for you, whereas it is not nearly so difficult for me because I believe Biden has, on balance, been a good President during extraordinarily challenging times. He's been too cautious with respect to Ukraine and too incautious with respect to Netanyahu. Biden may realize that he has made these mistakes. Correcting them is more and more difficult the further we go down the wrong path.

Well --- because the D.C. Appeals Court wanted to quote the previous rulings of the current conservative US Supreme Court justices in their ruling so the case would be air-tight if Trump took it to the US Supreme Court.
All ballots are important even though there hasn't been a closely contested RNC or DNC nominee for several decades to win his or her party’s nomination.
Thus, dismissing anything is ridiculous unless its the "last states" in the ballot count that can not make a difference in the outcome results.
The GOP has already thought about what you suggested...fuck the remainder state delegates s as if their delegates are not important and make Trump the presumptive 2024 nominee. Seriously, they had a resolution on the table for that based upon the primary results from Jan. 15 Iowa caucuses, and the Jan. 23 New Hampshire primary.
It's not a joke, they wanted to nominate Trump and cancel the remaining primaries in America without giving the competition a chance to be heard/campaign for the other state delegates...
