It's blatantly obvious that there are private individuals who are daytrading the markets successfully. It seems unlikely to me that they can only trade from one side. How are pit traders any different? Sure, they have different inputs that they learned to interpret, but mass psychology is still predictable.
It's pretty funny to see this post now, this month, after some of the beautiful trend days we have had. Competent daytraders must have been raking it in over the past month.

ET is definitly not the place to poll "Traders" making money.
I traded with over 300 traders during the last Bull. only 10% made money on a consistent basis, and only 2% made 7 figuers. One of them, left the firm, teamed up with STeve and created BAM.
A few others went off on their own.
ohh yea, I forgot about the 20,000 profitable Traders on ET.

You have only been in the business since 2004 and you make yourself sound like a pro. Why not disclose your real experience in this field? The fact of the matter is that your nothing more then a prop shop hero with 3 years under your belt during a buy the dip market.
If there is anyone who is clueless, you need not look any further but the mirror. Right now your a young kid living on the bulls not the brains. Your too inexperienced in this industry to understand what Im talking about.
