Marc Cuban on Day Trading

Quote from Steve Tvardek:

Tim, you are embarrassing yourself. Buy the dip market has ZERO to do with it. I personally love when we have strong down days, money is easier to make and much faster too. Fear moves markets down faster than greed moves them up. For some reason you dont seem to understand the concept of playing BOTH SIDES.

Its obvious to me that you are bitter at me for some reason, maybe I didnt respond to a PM of yours by accident and now you come back as a new alias to trash me on ET. No worries on my end, it doesnt matter to me what you think about my experience level or trading ability for you do not know me at all.

I have to put you on ignore, you are doing nothing more than trying to get a rise out of me and personally I dont like to associate with negative people. Especially ones who dont know anything about daytrading but pretend they do.

Steve, everyone who's been paying attention already knows that you possess an uncommon talent for trading, and the groundless bashings of some junior member of the Envious Loser Brigade isn't going to persuade anyone otherwise.

cuban is an ok guy. when i ran the other website, i contacted him for an interview. he took the time to call me, explained he wasn't doing any press at the time, and thanked me for the offer.

not many billionaires would make a phone call like this.

ET's panel of experts and pro-traders take the time to trash Cuban, but look who is a billionaire and look who isnt...Cuban's start in life was at an IBM retail store. He got fired from the job and went on to start his own business. Well, you can read more about it on Wikipedia and entertain yourself.

What does Cuban know about trading? He has been trading since the early 90s and correctly called the top in the markets during the tech bubble.

So for wonder traders like Steve Retardek to come on here and bash Cuban is laughable. Steve started in 2004 and has traded successfully through an uptrend. Steve is no different then traders from the late 90s who made six+++ digits trading through the uptrend.

Steve is a 20-something daytrader who will eventually get his clock cleaned where as Cuban is a successful businessman who has proven himself time and time again.

I emailed Cuban, asking his opinion on a very unusual circumstance re a stock. He replied, very brief. To say the least I was floored to even get a response.

doesn't Cuban post his email on monitors at Mavs games? I know he claims to read every email.

Getting an email response from a financial heavy is no big deal. I've gotten several such responses mostly from the earlier days of the internet when financial celebrities weren't inundated.
