2 billionaires live in a condo in bal harbour miami florida...one is worth 15 billion the other is worth 1 billion..one you would recognize right away the other not in one million years...4000 sq ft apartments...which I am sure they have 100's worldwide...

a search will produce the guy worth 15 billion...for there are no others in this state that run up so high....the other comes from the school of hard knocks self made and a stand up guy....you could see him in front of you and you would never know he is worth what he is worth...i know him through third party....

Good thoughts but i don't agree. Take "Dark Lord" Soros for example--- do you know what car he drives, where he lives, etc? Soros doesn't court the media, Buffett does as evidenced by what is known about him. These are carefully crafted images created to reach a goal--be that goal "to be liked by the common man", "look like a king" or whatever. These guys who are self made are extremely crafty, don't fall for the image.

my friend met Buffet in the elevator of the law frim he works for....he told my friend to invest in Mcdonalds and coke..this was like 6 years ago...my friend called me to ask me if i knew who a guy by the name of buffet was...lol...true story...he was shocked when i told him his net worth....

I guess WARREN BUFFET has some kind of PR firm molding his image and legend. Fame doesn't grows on trees, these people make it happen. This could be an image building after all. How he lives what he does and so on. I am not sure, I just guessing. Its my opinion that its what it looks like.

an example is the forbes 400 list--- many of those people actively and aggressively solicit forbes to be included on the list. true humble billionaires would be hiding from the forbes people.

Exactly.

The PR firms, act very much the same way as Hollywood stars are marketed with selected pix and outings and publicity. Most of these people on that list have begged to be placed there and enjoy the prestige and fame as a result.

Warren Buffet is a well marketed man in my opinion or estimates. JOHN VOIGHT ( Angelina Jolie's father) can play WARREN BUFFET with all that greed and money and hording going on..
