Malicious Multinicks Stalking

No drug money busts. Did fire many employees for doing or having drugs on the premises. I do remember about eight employees who were using the store as a drug headquarters...buying and selling with each other and friends coming in for their part...nothing large as far as money was concerned. We did bust a store manager who did cocaine in his office frequently. One of the corporations wouldn't allow any firearms in their vehicles while at work...not even the trunk...we fired a few for that. I'm sure many employees tried the disability fraud game...that's complicated because of the insurance companies involved...I didn't get involved with that too much. Of course, we always seem to have a drunken homeless person laying down in the middle of the aisle and yelling for help...there would always be a small battery next to them claiming they slipped.

The gangs...I hated the gangs. The fuckers were always trying to pull shit. One gang we called "the grab and run gang". They would enter the store in a large group of say, ten to fifteen members, and half of them would grab whatever merchandise (loot) they wanted and the others would be lookouts. Basically they would all run out the doors with their loot and jump into awaiting getaway vehicles. Many times we didn't know they came into the store in the first place and if we did, what could we do? We're outnumbered and they probably have guns. So, just call the police again. I'm not making this shit up...sounds like a movie doesn't it.

It's difficult to remember everything, but things are definitely coming back to me. Haven't thought about this stuff in a long time.
We’re you working in Sac when that Cambodian gang took over that Circuit City store?

Have you taken down strong arm robbers in the act?
Not in the act of the strong arm robbery itself, it was the fleeing of the scene of the crime that I had to tackle his ass. I was standing near sporting goods dept. when I heard a loud scream of the female kind. I ran over to whatever dept it was and when I yelled for what happened, a man explained "this guy tried to pull this women's wallet out of her purse". The suspect denied the accusation. Well, with two witnesses, I'm definitely apprehending this man, but he had other ideas...flee the scene...so typical. The police charged the man with strong arm robbery...it was a weak strong arm case, but it is what it is. I do believe the lady (the elder kind) did grab his arm during the attempt and he persisted.

You definitely learned some street smarts from all that.

For sure. The lesson i learned is i`m not messing with someone that i feel superior than myself(by knowledge and wisdom, not by a position).I`m all ears. But some spieces are just unstopable sometimes.

Good thread indeed to bring memory back!:D

No, I was working in the Chico, CA area back then. That situation was insane though. That's cool you remember that. I had to look up the date...1991.

Pioneer Week was the best! Back then Chico didn't have the open container ordinance, if you were of legal drinking age...you could walk around with any open bottle and not be harassed. Unless of course, you looked like a little kid or you couldn't stand up. LOL I use to live in the apartments called "THE ZOO"!
