Where is the NRA with their outrage that a legal licensed gunowner exercising his Constitutional rights to have his gun with him and protect himself if someone barges into their house was gunned down.

NRA should be up in arms that a licensed legal carry person was shot dead by police....

I dont know what they expect to happen when they come in with guns drawn like that in the middle of the night. They must be reall yon edge not knowing if someone in the dark might come at them and so they fire immediately.

It is not a fair position to put the cops in at all which goes to how fucktarded the trianing and leadership is to conduct their job in this manner. Poor guy wakes up to noise and intruders and first instinct is to grab something. Imagine if it was just a bat or stick he keeps nearby.. he still would have been shot.

Apparently yelling "cops/police" is a favorite of home invaders. Tacking on LEO impersonation is probably worth it if thugs don't want to get shot.

i think the no knock warrant thing has to be reviewed because in both cases we know where innocent person died no violent criminal or illegal substances were on the premises...

Indeed.When robbers do break in home invasions they often announce themselves as cops with a search warrant to make the inhabitants less likely to shoot them.

Probably creates enough evidence to claim a valid shooting because if cops bust in and someone has a gun what other action would you expect the cops to take except to fire their weapon.

Shitty situation all around. I still say there is quite a lawsuit coming since the facts around the warrant and whow as actually in that apartment raise doubts.
