MAGAtards kill black man over air freshener

We need to wait until they release the full video to know for sure.The victim said they pulled him over for the air freshener.Cops are probably just trying to find a better excuse for pulling him over because the real reason was because he was black.

Let me ask -- which makes more sense. An expired tag is much easier to see than an air freshener hanging on a rear view mirror with tinted windows. Officers are regularly looking for expired tags -- an easy ticket to hand out to achieve their monthly "quota" --- rather than looking for air fresheners inside cars.

Are you saying ticketing people over air fresheners would not achieve meeting quotas?

It is much easier for an officer to visual see and ticket people over expired tags. Officers do not spend their time on patrol trying to peer into cars with tinted windows to see if an air freshener is hanging from the rear view mirror. Of course, the officers will be glad to add the air freshener infraction to the ticket after they pull the person over.

There is a back log around the country for expired tags because of registration offices being close so expired tag tickets would be thrown out.

I am eagerly awaiting the full video to be released because I doubt Dante would have just made up the air freshener cause.

Yes they do. They look for any reason to stop and search black drivers.

Oh ok, I'm guessing no one ever gets pulled over for not wearing a seatbelt since it's hard to see. No one ever gets pulled over for overly dark tint obstructing view of the cabin either

Sort of interesting... they had a local news segment on seat belt wearing. A few of the things mentioned by the police in the segment included;
  • Most seat belt violations in North Carolina were given out at checkpoints, or if they pulled you over for something else and when they approached the car your seatbelt was not on.
  • Typically the only way (in an era with tinted car windows) for an officer to see you are not wearing a seatbelt when your car is moving is for the seat belt to be hanging out your closed door (which does happen more often than people think).

It's much easier for me to see a bright object hanging from a mirror than the seatbelts of opposing traffic. But I get it, there's no room for that possibility in your world and it's a contrived narrative from a dead man

Have you ever tried to see if someone had an air freshener hanging through tinted windows? Go try it.

Of course, you are ignoring the fact the stop was called in as an expired tag.
