Squad member and progressive Michigan Democrat Rashida Tlaib alleged in a Twitter post on Monday night that the death of Daunte Wright "wasn’t an accident" as she appeared to call for an end of policing.

In the post, Tlaib indicated that the police system should be ended because it could not be reformed as it is "inherently [and] intentionally racist."

The progressive lawmaker also appeared to equate policing with "government funded murder."

Very well then.... let's revert to how things were in the good old days. When we had a posse of neighbors patrolling every community and enacting instant justice for any infractions... with the typical penalty being immediate death. Anyone who looked like they did not belong in the community could be instantly targeted without any concern for their "rights". Would this be much better than the police, the DA and the courts.

So if you find out the guy was not an A+ student and best citizen, it then makes the murder by police acceptable?

Because bringing up his past does nothing to change what happened except to find a sliver of justification for the cops killing him.

If a female member of your family is raped, is it ok for the media to show pictures from the past where she wore high heels and a tight dress or revealing top to indicate the rape might have been her own fault?

Once again let's get to the facts and examine another contrived fake narrative used as the subject of this thread by HFM.

(CNN) -- Moments before police fatally shot Daunte Wright during a traffic stop Sunday in a Minneapolis suburb, he called his mother and told her he'd been pulled over for hanging air fresheners from his rearview mirror.

It's not clear how much of a role the air fresheners played in the traffic stop. Brooklyn Center Police Chief Tim Gannon told reporters Monday that Wright was originally pulled over for an expired tag and that when officers approached his car, they saw an item hanging from the rearview mirror.

  • Contrived fake narrative
  • Witness attested to why he was pulled over before getting shot
Pick one

You realize expired tags have grace periods because of COVID at the moment surely? But we know who you side with in this "contrived narrative"

Are you still claiming that officers pulled him over for air freshener on the rear view mirror. Good luck with that fake narrative.

You just linked a source saying cops can and do pull people over for that and that the witness attested to his mother precisely that. You're choosing to believe the cops on this one, not my fault you don't want to consider the alternative

We need to wait until they release the full video to know for sure. The victim said they pulled him over for the air freshener.Cops are probably just trying to find a better excuse for pulling him over because the real reason was because he was black.
