I have a better idea even than Governor DeSanctus (He's from Florida, where they don't have subways, so what gives him any right to say anything?) Seeing as how the subway system, once the doors close, offers hostile actors abundant opportunity to corner potential victims who can't just run to another car, people need lessons on how to spot the signs of regular, harmless total insanity versus an actor who is right on the verge of killing everybody in the car that can't run, or who don't have the tools to break a window and jump off the moving train to get away from what might just be regular harmless total insanity, but not necessarily the dangerous kind of utter chaos. People who have to ride the subway to get to work and make a living need video training so they can know that the people who are making threats and going completely nuts, aren't actually a threat. That way, people can just keep going to work as usual, and the other people can just keep making threats and going completely nuts as usual...and nobody gets hurt. The problem is that people who are going to work just don't understand that 99.99% of people who are going completely nuts inside the locked cars, don't actually kill everybody that is a captive audience inside the locked cars. And usually, by the time the doors open again, the psychopathic episodes have usually ended on their own after the psychopaths realize they are just acting stupidly. So there really isn't as much threat to the public as the working public might think. The working public just isn't trained in psychotherapy, at all. Just because the doors are locked, doesn't mean that people who are going insane are a problem...at least 99% of the time.
For example, here is a potential training video that proves that 99% of the time, hard working subway riders just need only to run away to the next car, if they can, because most of the time, the people going totally insane don't actually do anyone any harm:
The public needs to learn that when one door closes, usually another door, or at least a window, opens up. So there's always an opportunity. The subway system needs to let everybody know that it's possible to run out the doors that connect the cars, and leap over the gap between the moving cars. Anyone who can't make the leap, well, remember, 99% of the time, the crazy people don't actually translate threats to actual harm.
It's like when Rosa Parks sat down on the bus, only it's 2023 now, and we have more choices. We can stay seated or, everybody has an opportunity to get the hell out of there if they can make the leap between the moving cars. Proper etiquette is men should let the ladies run first and make the leap between the cars and the men stay behind and wait, while 99% the time nothing is going to happen anyway
