To you the NBA player beating the hell out of the person who attempted to kill him by breaking his vehicle window is perfectly acceptable --- but a white guy who reacts to the attempt to damage his vehicle & kill him is not acceptable.

Soon the standard response will escalate to using firearms -- which is perfectly acceptable in most states when criminal rioters are attempting to kill you and your family in your car.
It all comes back to that rioters need to be personally responsible for their actions. They should not be surprised when decent citizens object to be targets of their terrorism.
property damage (brick throwing as you claim but have failed to produce proof) does not equal attempted homicide & issuing a beat down for it is a measured response. Driving a vehicle over a sidewalk in an attempt to run people over is attempted homicide & a disproportionate response. I didn't set that standard, the law did.
If you throw a brick at the window of someone driving a vehicle it is attempted homicide. Don't be surprised when they get out and react appropriately to your attempt to kill them.
This gets back to the fact that rioters need to take personal responsibility for their actions.

From your perspective "issuing a beat down" is a perfectly acceptable response. Can the driver beat them half to death. Just how far can they beat to rioter. Is there an allowed number of punches and kicks.
Now that you established the standard that issuing a beat down for breaking a window on a vehicle is perfectly acceptable for civilians -- then I expect the same standard is perfectly acceptable for cops. The next time a rioter breaks a police car window then -- based on your standard -- it is perfectly acceptable for the cops to get out and "issue a beat down".
The fallacy in your argument is that the cops don't own the cruisers whereas a private citizen owns their car, so a cop beat down is unwarranted. You've yet to produce proof of "brick through" window in whitey's case, even then it would fall under manslaughter as the intention of the "protester" will unlikely be homicide or bodily harm, whereas attempting to run over someone on a sidewalk shows intention to commit homicide or bodily harm.

I will not that only one person in the two situations actually made physical contact with the rioter -- that is the one you are supporting.
"A" is ok, getting into your vehicle & attempting to run protesters over who allegedly damaged your vehicle is not. Chasing after someone who you don't even know is the rock thrower w/a piercing object is not.
We will just note that your position is if the driver is black then it perfectly acceptable for them to get out and beat up a white guy, and if they driver is white it is not acceptable for them to do anything.
