To the first point, true. The end result is the same, no response. But at least the ignore features are not being utilized, which totally messes up thread flow.

First of all...
The cop and the woman were in vehicles on a Arkansas freeway. The cop most likely knew without a doubt that the woman had started to "slow down", he then saw her put on her flashers, he then saw her slowly move to the shoulder...a shoulder he can clearly see is very narrow and not a safe place to stop...
The above are the obvious facts even though it all took place at night. It should have been obvious to the police officer with that many years of training...
- She was trying to find a safe place to stop not just for her safety...for his safety too.
As I stated, I'm sure that cop could just as well "follow the vehicle" until they reached a safe location and then turn on his flashing police lights / siren. Had she not stopped then...
That's when he can assume without a doubt that she was trying to "flee" and I'm sure he would then not had been so damn polite to the woman (knocking on her window to see if she's OK) and not pulling out his gun to order her to exit the vehicle with her hands up.
The latter is what cops do when they truly suspect you're fleeing and not trying to say a few words to cover their tracks when they know their dashcam video is on.
Get Out Of Your Vehicle Now...With Your Hands Up.
We all know the above command when someone is fleeing.

Only idiots believe that you should not say anything about bad law enforcement officers. (Until the idiot, or one of their family members becomes a statistic at the hands of a rogue officer.)
Only idiots believe that calling out bad employees, means that you are saying all employees are bad.
This is why bad cops feel embolden to break/dislocate old lady's with obvious mental issues, shoulders. Because idiots back-the-blue's-bullshit.
Just as equally, we have bad apples at this forum and they need to be called out for their behavior.
Doing so does not imply all members of Elitetrader.com are ignorant / dicks / racists / trolls / spammers / multiple aliases.
I'm proud to say that the few friends I personally know that are law enforcement including my next door neighbor (retired police chief)...they are good ones although I realize I don't know everything about their performance on the job.

Nothing warrants a cop ramming a car in this situation and flipping them causing such damage when she slowed down and had her hazards on.... there are many other options avaialble to the cop. She will be paid millions.....
Stop defending the cops at all costs and acknowledge when they fuck up or we will never have any reform.
