Two attendees and two support staff at the Republican National Convention in Charlotte tested positive for COVID-19, the
Charlotte Observer reports.
Those people were instructed to isolate immediately, and close contacts were also told to quarantine.
There is something very very very wrong with all of this. I hope I am not the only one to see how scientifically there is an impossibility sourcing the thing.
The RNC has been going on for how long? Three days?
And the incubation period for the virus is what? 14 days? Meaning that on average a person will not start showing symptoms for 14 days after exposure?
So the people who got tested after attending the convention...Did they have symptoms? If they did not, they should not have been tested.
If they did, then they didn't contract the virus from the fucking convention. They got it from somewhere else.
The virus is out and about. There's no need to fucking quarantine the entire country AGAIN, because mask or not everyone is going to get the thing, MULTIPLE TIMES. I had it once in February. I may have gotten it again in May and had no symptoms, because my body fought it off, like it does most other infections we get EVERY SINGLE DAY.
Here in August, I may have it again! But with no symptoms, we just would not know without a test. So what to do? Hmmmmm!
Wear a fucking mask, use hand sanitizer when you get back in your fucking vehicle, and wash your fucking hands with warm soapy water when you get home. That is all it takes to stop this thing.
