This is one of those times when i say 'what was i thinking?'

Why would I think France would fight for their independence from the EU and a cultural takeover. LOL

That's not what the French do. They surrender. That's all they know. It's in their blood.

Macron has one quality : most under-estimate him, till they get a beating.
Even Le Pen has started to recognize that: she underestimated him.

Macron is going to sort the problem the French way, aka civilized way.

The French have apparently chosen their bed. Now let them lie in it. They are ok with seeing their culture destroyed, with weekly terrorist attacks and an inevitable slide to third world status. It does make you wonder if we did the right thing to lose so many of our men to liberate them from the Germans.

May I ask: in which country have you lived as a local? not as a tourist, as you are then usually shown the red carpet. just as someone like a local?
