Lyndsey Graham puts on his big boy pants.

Try to follow the discussion.

You said that kavanaugh's nomination was "railroaded" through. I said it was one of the longest and most contentious hearings on record and that the accusations did not even come up during the hearing period- but instead it came up as a hit job afterwards when the hearings failed for the dems.

So, again, the word "railroaded" hardly applies. Lack of action on her part or the dems part during the scheduled hearing process does not constitute an emergency on the part of others, nor is it railroading anyone to require them to work with the hearing rather than creating fake emergencies as to why extra innings for them are required because their score is not looking good.

If the investigation of some sort occurs for a week- chances are good- there is absolutely zero chance that the dems will not see something that requires more time. Fake process to go with fake accusations for fake reasons. The reasons relate to elections. None of the dems give a shiite about Ford or Ramirez and so on. They are just pawns being used to create campaign issues.

Sure. It is possible something else substantial comes up. Don’t blame democrats though, the White House is responsible for the selection.

I'll give her the benefit of the doubt on forgetting some details.... but there is one part that doesn't add up and bothers me.

After the alleged incident which she so vividly recalls.... how did she get home after she ran out into the street? That would be something she would not forget... because its a huge part of the incident. And that would also nail down a corroborating witness too. She should remember that. She's either lying or it wasn't Cavanaugh and she doesn't want the driver questioned.

And even more to that point... remember.... this was before cell phones (for kids at least). This is a big missing part of her story. Who's landline did she use and who did she call? Think about it. Remember she said "she ran down the steps and out the front door". And it was too far to walk home. 8 miles. This would not be lost in the fog of time, she can remember they "pinballed" down the steps, but she doesn't remember who picked her up or who she called 5 minutes later to drive her home? Hmmmm.

I just assumed she was near black out drunk. I've never been attempted raped, so wonder if some Ptsd type condition occurrs.

And the demotards are responsible for when fake accusers are produced.

The media circus that surrounds a nominee is more reflective of the poor selection of a nominee than any particular party.

I will again refer you right wingers back to Gorsuch and Roberts for some recent appointments that were vetted for these things as opposed to what we are seeing with Roy Moore, I meant Brett “frat boy” Kavanaugh.

not really.

Gorsuch replaced a conservative.
This is for a a very critical swing vote which could change things for a generation.

Massive difference.

Crock. Maybe the media circus has been more with kavanauch because the media loves the salacious stuff so the dems have produced some. Otherwise, if kavanaugh is confirmed it will strictly be along party lines with 2 or 3 dem crossovers, which was exactly the same case for Gorsuch. The dems simply dug their heels in and created more noise, opposition, and fake accusations because kavanaugh's appointment will truly tip the balance and the dems know it. Not because kavanaugh is a worse appointee. If Gorsuch had been the one to tip the balance he would become a serial rapist too- allegedly.

Sparticus Lindsey Graham made a pithy but valid quip to Kavanaugh. He said: "When you see Kagan and Sotomayor, tell them that Lindsey says hello, because I voted for both of them."
The point being that votes are along party lines now which requires the demonization of nominees of the opposing party.

Hopefully, no one here is stupid enough to think that the presumed FBI investigation will result in picking up any new dem votes whatsoever even if the fbi report is uneventful. The fbi report is simply to provide cover for the 2 dems already looking for a means to justify voting for kavanaugh because they are in Trump country, and to provide cover for RINO's Collins and Murkowski if they are already leaning in that direction. Otherwise, not a single one of the dem clowns will do anything other than complain about the time and the investigation are never enough.

Blah blah blah. The same argument was made for Roy Moore. Spare me.

Again, don’t blame the democrats every time republicans put up a shitty nominee or candidate.

Gorsuch was not a shitty nominee. Yet every dem senator - except for the 2 or 3 in Trump country immediately announced that they would vote against him the minute he was nominated and then did so.

Kavanaugh was not a shitty nominee. He has a very distinguished record both personally and professionally and has served for twelve years as chief of the most important court in the country -second to the Supreme Court. You can create a kool-aid, trance-state argument that his problem is that all of these sex accusations have come up and that makes him a shitty nominee. However, the reality is that those outrageous accusations have not cost him a single vote among dems. Every single one of them- with the exception of the couple noted- had already declared that they would vote against him long before any of that came up. Is that true or not true?

The dems are functioning as a resistance movement, not as independent evaluators of nominees. The notion that 45 of them did or will vote against gorsuch or kavanaugh on their merits is absurd. The tard senators all immediately declared that they would vote against kavanaugh and then proceeded to complain bitterly that they needed to see george bush's presidential communications in order to be able to make a decision about a nominee that they had already decided to vote against. What's wrong with that picture class?
