Dems have lashed themselves to the mast of a ship being steered by a woman who is so obviously deranged that she claimed to have installed a second front door in her house because of a minor teen incident 35 years ago.
In the intervening years, she managed to get a doctorate in psychology, which is itself hugely ironic, travel all over the world, amass a small fortune in Ca real estate and function as a university professor. Yet she felt the need for a second front door because she was afraid Kavanaugh would track her down and finish the job? Is this a person whose ramblings we would take seriously in any other context?

Okay well, you correct me on the facts then:
1) When did Feinstein receive the letter?
2) When did Feinstein make the committee aware of the accusations in the letter?
Feinstein made the committee aware of the letter when Ford allowed it.
Looks like the fbi will be handling this. We can all feel better in a week or so.

There should be an FBI investigation. Of Dr. Ford, Sen. Feinstein and her staff and the shadowy network of bottomfeeders advising Ford.
An investigation of Kavanaugh and his role in any teen incident is obviously superfluous. Every conceivable witness is on the record already. They all said they had no recollection of any such event. Ford can paint a crystal clear picture of the alleged attack but is amazingly vague on other details, such as where it took place, how she got there, got home, etc. Kind of like the people who claim alien abductions. They sound very believable too.
Flake appears to want an extra week so he can have more time to auction off his vote. It's ridiculous to extend this farce any longer. They want to stall so they can at least keep Kavanaugh off the Court this term. McConnell simply can't allow that.

The truth is Kavanaugh cannot be seared without an investigation. Whether you like it or not his accuser is credible and we cannot let another Thomas on the bench.

We have to draw the line at attempted rape and sexual harassment. These credible charges cannot get rammed through. A true investigation has to happen and we all need to accept the outcome.

The committee has voted the nomination out on to the floor. That is the most that be accomplished today and that has been done.
