Looking for Co-Manger/Advisor fro hedge fund

Quote from hardrock375:

Dude, you will have no such luck finding potential managers here. We all manage accounts of $10 Billion or more. It is not worth the time for a few more million. That amount is small potatoes to big shots like us. No, wait a second, I suppose I could take a few more million on, just as a favor to you. I will have to get the bank account number from my friend. This could take awhile as the bank is located in Nigeria.

This post is pure satire, and is intended to be construed as such.

yes, it is true.

ps what is "satire"

For some reason it just doesn't seem prudent to find a money manager on a website ...

It doesnt sound like he's looking for a manager. it sounds like he just needs a legal administrator who lives offshore. I do offshore and onshore. I barely know the offshore administrator. Its not relevant to the trading whatsoever. The offshore and onshore accounts feed into whats called a "master/feeder" structure so i dont have to do the same trades for every account. I can just do them once and then spread them out to the different accounts.

I was referring to the person telling him to look on hedgefund.com, not the original poster ...

For me it sounds like a broker trying to find some clients. They do anything to get a list of prominent clients...

It doesn't make sense to find a hedge manager in the internet... also, if he's going out traveling all the time and busy... he should have a wide range of networks in the business...

It might be some dot.com guys trying to start a bogus fund... don't know
