1. he has the originals and can prove his birth?

What we do know is his father was from Kenya, his mom traveled all over, he was educated outside of the U.S.

You would have to be nuts to take a politicians word for the fact he is a natural born citizen... especially when the term is not well defined.

So when high profile republicans or democrat competitors don't make and issue of it...

its either national security... or something really off the wall.

1. You do not think the states have a right to say who can be on their ballot? Why do we have and electoral college? It is not clear to me how the fed courts will rule on that issue.

2. You do not understand evidence. A birth certificate may be a valid document but still not be competent to be evidence as to place of birth.... in a court room.

A lawyer can't walk in with a doc and say... you see here this document says that produce was made in China ... therefore my client is off the hook.

Or you see this drivers license from HI, it says my client was old enough to drink, therefore my client is 21 .... case dismissed. Thats not the way the law works.

You have to lay foundation to be admissible as evidence, then the trier of fact gets to weigh the evidence.


Once Obama's lawyer made proffer your colb as evidence --


The first thing a lawyer would do would say is objection foundation. Objection, Hearsay and in some courts Objection, best evidence rule.

Who will have to lay the foundation for the birth certificate?
The record keeper.

Who would lay the foundation for place of birth.... the best record on the subject matter. The original. If the original is lost, then it is anybody's guess what will happen.

here is what would happen after the recent copy of the B.C. is offered.

Objection foundation. Granted
so Obama's lawyer would have to bring in the record keeper.

Then you would need the record keeper.
Then you would ask the record keeper how this document came to be printed. Where did it draw the data from.
How is the data gathered.
Is there an original.
Can the original be produced for inspection.

By the way the newpaper announcements... didn't those prove to be a fiction made up by a blogger?

2. do you have a link saying they were sent by HI. I would consider that a solid piece of evidence. If the state of HI announced a HI birth in a timely manner... you would have the best evidence I have heard of.

We have one more thing. We talked to reporter Will Hoover, who wrote a well-researched story for the Honolulu Advertiser on Nov. 9, 2008, about Obama's childhood years in the the Aloha State. It ran under the headline "Obama Slept Here."

In researching the story, he went to the microfilm archives and found the birth announcement for Obama. Actually, he found two of them, one in his Honululu Advertiser on Aug. 13 , 1961, and in the Honolulu Star-Bulletin the next day . They both said the same thing: "Mr. and Mrs. Barack H. Obama, 6085 Kalanianaole Highway, son, Aug. 4."

But here's the thing. Newspaper officials he checked with confirmed those notices came from the state Department of Health.


"That's not the kind of stuff a family member calls in and says, 'Hey, can you put this in?'" Hoover explained.

Take a second and think about that. In order to phony those notices up, it would have required the complicity of the state Health Department and two independent newspapers — on the off chance this unnamed child might want to one day be president of the United States.

well now we have to take a reporters word for it. hardly a credible source given what the media has become...

But, if it is true, I would expect to see that microfilm be subpoenaed and reviewed and if its true, that would be pretty strong evidence.

No need to be subpoenaed,the micro films are available at the public library.Maybe the newspapers decided to get on the conspiracy in 1961
