Less than 50% of U.S. troops believe Afghanistan war is winnable

Quote from Ricter:

I didn't see any elaboration of "win" or "success" in that article.

You are accusing The Military Times organization of giving survey participants only bad choice in a survey

I don't think I've seen weakest argument in a while

I am surprised at that number. I've always thought they are brainwashed thoroughly.

brainwashing in military is intense however in face of constant reality to the contrary

brainwashing starts to buckle

No, I'm not. I'd like to know if they gave the survey participants any clarity on what "win" means, so that everyone is answering the same question. Otherwise, the data is worse than useless.

The advocates of the Afghanistan war can't even define what "win" means in that context. So of course the war isn't winnable.

The War on Terror isn't the sort of thing you can win. (When we we ever say that Terror was defeated?) The whole point of the War on Terror is to have to the perfect excuse for an ever larger police state at home and ever more military spending abroad.

All wars fought by the USA military against 3rd world countries are winnable.
No wars fought by the thugs in D.C. are winnable.
