To your point, you make the case he never got more than 1% in a primary election and that is true but he also never polled as high as he is now. Not even close. He was never the front runner and today he is the front runner. He also was elected Vice President twice.

We are not disagreeing. I think I said - out of my usual generosity of spirit- that compared to the current lot of losers in the primary he would poll better or look like a heavyweight, whatever.
