I have seen zero science which states that 99% of the antibodies come out of the unvaccinated. (do you have proof of this over a sufficient time period and not just the few months where the vaccinated produce strong antibodies? )

This is also underlines the importance of getting third world nations vaccinated since the large majority of Covid variants will come out of locations where vaccination rates are very low -- Omicron has been outlined by WHO as a wakeup call on the need to vaccinate poorer nations to prevent future variants and the International Red Cross stating Omicron shows the dangers of vaccine inequity.

The initial studies of Omicron show that having a previous case of Covid does not appear to provide any immunity to Omicron - this has been outlined by NBC, ABC, and numerous other news reports. Anyone who has been paying attention to the reports about Omicron would not pushing "natural immunity" from previous infection to provide protection. There is also concerns that Omicron will be more evasive to vaccines - reducing vaccinated protection for infection but still preventing severe cases.

The data out of South Africa shows that over 90% of the hospitalizations from Omicron are unvaccinated -- showing that vaccination still prevents severe cases of the Omicron Covid variant. Similarly a huge majority of the omicron cases are unvaccinated. One additional point of concern is the impact of Omicron on children - 10% of the hospitalizations for Omicron are unvaccinated children under 5.

Yes, the unvaccinated are variant factories. Be responsible and get vaccinated to eliminate future dangerous Covid variants. Support worldwide vaccination efforts to reduce global third world hotspots which are the likely starting point of the next Covid variant of concern. Don't push "natural immunity" nonsense -- all if does is provide a large death and misery toll while providing minimal protection -- especially since in over 36% of the naturally infected there are no measurable anti-bodies found at the six month mark. On top of this - having a previous Covid case may not make you immune to Omicron at all.

COVID outbreak on cruise ship approaching New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Ten people aboard a Norwegian Cruise Line ship approaching New Orleans have tested positive for COVID-19, officials said Saturday night.

The Norwegian Breakaway had departed New Orleans on Nov. 28 and is due to return this weekend, the Louisiana Department of Health said in a news release. Over the past week, the ship made stops in Belize, Honduras and Mexico.

More than 3,200 people are on board the ship, officials said.

According to the statement, Norwegian “has been adhering to appropriate quarantine and isolation protocols as new cases and exposures have been identified aboard this vessel.”
