You do highlight a point concerning politics in this media-slam world
In 1992 Clinton won both houses...At this point the House had been democratic for 40 years
Since that election every new president has come into office winning the executive office and both houses, that's an amazing fact.
2000 Bush wins the White House the Senate, the House
2008 Obama wins the White House the Senate, the House
2016 Trump wins the White House the Senate, the House
2020 Biden wins the White House the Senate, the House
This is the cable news effect...all negative news for each term, it wears down the party in power and the public
Of course at the State and local levels the Republicans have crushed the Democratics
Also Democrats winning The White House, Senate and House is a much tougher accomplishment than Republicans winning any of them.
The EC heavily favors The GOP.The last 2 Republican presidents won The White House while losing the popular vote,Trump by millions.
Due to gerrymandering The House heavily favor republicans and its an absolute failure when they lose it considering the gerrymandering advantage they have.In 2010 Republicans picked up 63 seats with a 6 million popular vote win.In 2018 Democrats won by 10 million but only picked up 41 seats.
Democrat Senators represent over 40 million more people than GOP Senators. That is one hell of an advantage for republicans when they can have 50-50 power representing 40 million fewer people.
