I hope they repeal Obamacare. It gave employees to much freedom to move jobs and start entrepreunrial activities like freelancing. Over a few years this will help put downward pressure on wages which will make businesses earn more profits which can then trickle back down to the masses.

Rule XIX of the Senate Standing Rules lets them get around the 60 votes to pass it with 51 with the 2 speech rule.
Difficult to say which party is worse. Democrats passing legislation that bankrupts the country, or republicans who would screw up passing gas. And I do have to say the mad genius of the great dealmaker leaves much to be desired on this particular issue. Winning, not.
Alt right websites were saying they could use that to confirm Gorsuch but they had to change the rules to confirm him.I don't know much about that rule but my guess is if it was that easy to get around 60 votes both sides would have been using it long ago rather than wasting time with reconciliation and changing filibuster rules.Trump himself tweeted they 60 votes for a full repeal.
At this point we are down to pure politics, and transparently so. Of course if the House and Senate were to actually repeal all of Obamacare and simply leave a void it would be disastrous. They won't do such a stupid thing obviously. (Neither house can repeal Obamacare independent of the other body.)

The rule lets anyone who wants to talk, talk twice for as long as they want and they are done. With enough willpower, democrats could possibly keep it from being repealed maybe 4,5 or even 6 months, but eventually they have to stop talking and then the vote happens. From what I remember, twice they've had this rule keep something going for over 100 days.
The plan is repeal, but keep Obamacare for another 2 years to give democrats a chance to vote on something to replace it.
I know. It is an incredibly stupid plan. All just so you can claim you repealed it without repealing it! No one will fall for this except the incredibly naive.
